We are looking for an individual who is looking for the opportunity to make a difference and develop the provision of services to children with disabilities. You must have experience of working in child care, out of school or education environments and**understanding of Learning Disabilities.**

The Youth Leader is responsible for delivering sessions such both in the centre and the community, as part of a group or 1:1 support. They lead and plan activities for children & young people giving them the opportunity to learn through play, make choicesand meet friends, develop independent skills through structure and target setting. They lead our play workers during sessions in order to enable young people with learning disabilities and complex needs to enjoy mainstream activities in the community or ourcentre. They support the Centre Manager with the day to day management of the provision.
In order to deliver the role effectively a degree of flexibility is needed and the post holder is required to work evenings and weekends.

Continuing opportunities for learning and development together with regular supervision and support. 33 days of annual leave per year.
**KCA is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Background checks and an enhanced DBS will be required. You need to be 18 and over to apply.
