An opportunity has arisen for a H&S Advisor to join their team based in Melton HU14 3HH.

**Job Requirements**

Day to day operations of a busy hands-on Health and Safety department, policing and developing both on Site Staff and Contractors.

**This role will have a wide range of duties, including**:

- Creating and reviewing Risk Assessment, Method statements and Work procedures
- Supporting the SHEQ team on all related matters
- Delivering H&S strategies to improve H&S culture
- Conduct Monthly process audits to identify any potential issues
- Management of the companies sampling systems
- Assisting in Accident and incident investigations
- Assist in identifying training requirements
- Issuing permits to work for both contractor and site staff when required

- Organised and methodical approach to workload, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communicator at all levels.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment.
- Self-motivated, adapting positively to change.
- Excellent IT skills
- Robust and resilient with the ability to absorb pressure and respond positively.

**Qualifications**

Preferably hold a NEBOSH General Certificate or Equivalent have experience working in a team of both Health and Safety professionals and a knowledge of Integrated Management Systems.

The company encourages training and is willing to fund Health and Safety Training.

Salary up to £33,000 per year dependant on experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
