Based in the Wirral, Hazelwell Care Home is a stunning, all-inclusive 55-bed facility providing Nursing, Residential, Dementia, and Respite care. Our home is committed to creating a welcoming and high-quality environment where residents can thrive.

We are looking for a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. You will support the preparation and delivery of high-quality meals while maintaining a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment. Your role will be essential in ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen and contributing to an excellent dining experience for our residents.

**What We Offer**
- £12.21 per hour
- Contracted to 40 hours per week
- Pension scheme, Paid DBS
- Uniform provided
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)

**What You’ll Do**
As Kitchen Assistant, you will help prepare and organise food, ensuring meals are ready to a high standard. You will maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the kitchen, manage deliveries safely, and follow all food safety and health and safety procedures. You will support your colleagues to maintain a professional, efficient, and welcoming kitchen environment and contribute positively to team collaboration.

**What We’re Looking For**
We are seeking someone with strong organisational skills and attention to detail, who understands basic food safety and handling principles. Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team are essential. Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is advantageous but not essential. A positive, proactive, and professional approach is key to succeeding in this role.
