York, United Kingdom Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust Full time

We are offering the opportunity for an experienced Administrator/Coordinator to join our existing Administration Team supporting the Forensic Service provided from Clifton House in York. The post is full time 37.5 hours with core working hours Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, with some flexibility surrounding start and finish times.

The role is pivotal in line managing the admin support at Clifton House and therefore it is essential you have previous supervisory or line management experience and be competent in delivering advice and support to staff

We are a high quality, high performing NHS foundation trust. We are the main provider of specialist mental health and learning disability services in Leeds. We also provide specialist inpatient services in York as well as some highly specialised services across the country.
We employ around 3,000 staff and every year we have contact with over 25,000 service users. Our vision is to provide outstanding mental health and learning disability services as an employer of choice. Our ambition is to support our service users and carers, our staff and the communities we serve to live healthy and fulfilling lives. We need people like you to help us achieve our goals; to live our lives free from stigma and discrimination; and to improve the lives of people with a learning disability and mental ill health.
We perform well against local and national targets and in our most recent CQC inspection, 85% of our services were rated good or outstanding.
As a teaching trust with strong links to local universities, we are a centre of excellence for teaching, research and development.

You will be required to use your own initiative and be able to work unsupervised, undertaking specific project work as necessary which is within the boundaries of the role. Under the direction of the line manager, you will be expected to plan and manage a range of complex duties, organise your own work and that of others to meet deadlines and respond professionally to enquiries both internally and externally to the organisation. An ability to work with a broad range of professionals, administrative and secretarial staff in a multi-disciplinary environment is essential to the role. You should be used to managing many competing priorities on a daily basis. We are looking for an individual with a positive approach to change who are supportive of service improvements.
