**Overview of Job Role**

Competitive Pay Rate**:£12.60 per hour**

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- Ensure that all areas of the care home, including but not restricted to bedrooms, communal spaces, and bathrooms, are clean, tidy, and hygienic.
- Carry out housekeeping duties to ensure high standards of compliance with infection control and health and safety regulations.
- Interact with residents, addressing their needs, and ensuring their living spaces are well-maintained.
- Obtain feedback from residents and staff regarding cleaning and laundry quality to ensure that we are meeting the needs of the home and our residents at all times.
- Follow the COSHH Health & Safety Data Sheets and ensure compliance at all times.
- Ensure to appropriately complete and sign all required documentation as directed by the Head Housekeeper.
- Assist in stocking housekeeping consumables and adhere to the proportionate use of these items.
- Ensure that all housekeeping equipment is well maintained and in good working order.
- Ensure that all waste is disposed of in accordance with the relevant policies and procedures.
- Support with duties in the laundry as required by the Head Housekeeper.
- Carry out any duties reasonably required to ensure the smooth operation of Aston Manor.

**About You**
- Demonstratable working knowledge and experience of working in a similar role within the Care Home or hospitality settings.
- Excellent communication skills with a people first approach.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and take ownership of this role with confidence and discretion.
- Work collaboratively as part of the team.
