Overview: **Warehouse Operative** Humdinger - Bromborough Position Type: Full-time, permanent Hours: 39 Pay range: £13.95/hour Breaks: 2 x 30 minutes Shift Pattern: Monday - Thursday: Week 1: 06:00 - 14:00 Week 2: 14:00 - 22:00 Week 3: 22:00 - 06:00 Friday: Week 1: 06:00 - 13:00 Week 2: 13:00 - 20:00 Week 3: 20:00 - 03:00 **Responsibilities**: - Operate a reach truck to retrieve pallets from racking and transport them to the designated production area, ensuring all movements are accurately recorded using a handheld scanner. - Utilise computer systems to monitor production progress and ensure inventory is correctly positioned for efficient operations. - Safely store pallets in the racking system, scanning each one to verify proper placement. - Maintain a clean and organised work environment by following a "clean as you go" policy, keeping both the warehouse and equipment in optimal condition. - Assist in stock control by promptly reporting any discrepancies to a senior staff member upon discovery. Qualifications: - Previous experience in warehouse operations (Essential) - Reach truck license (Essential) - Counterbalance license (Essential) - Strong understanding of stock management principles. - Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) compliance, regulatory standards, housekeeping, and health & safety protocols. - Ability to perform effectively under pressure. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Proficient in administrative and clerical tasks, with basic PC literacy. - Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to following procedures accurately. - Experience operating a PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) is preferred, though training will be provided if necessary.
