**Job description**

**Responsibilities**:
As an SIA Security Officer you will be responsible for the following:

- **Access Control**:

- Monitor and control site access, verifying credentials and ensuring all visitors sign in and out.
- **Customer Service**:

- Provide professional and courteous service to all personnel and visitors.
- Meet and Greet guest/visitors
- Check I.D'S
- Take parcels/deliveries
- Answer the reception phone
- Assist with directions and handle inquiries and complaints professionally.
- Liaise with the team on the ground regarding meeting or guests coming into the premises
- **Patrolling: (Night shift)**:

- Conduct regular patrols of the site to detect unusual activity, hazards, or security breaches.
- Report suspicious activities promptly.
- **Surveillance (Night shift)**:

- Monitor CCTV systems and respond to alarms or security breaches.
- Maintain detailed logs of all surveillance activities and incidents.
- Remove any trespassers coming onto site
- Ensure the site is secure ( doors and windows )
- Complete log book when on shift
- Promote a safe working environment by identifying and reporting hazards.
- **Site Security Management**:

- Enforce site-specific security procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of security activities.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work with other security personnel to ensure comprehensive site coverage.
- Communicate effectively with the site management team on security matters.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Valid SIA License is mandatory.
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent observational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Time Keeping
- Multi-Tasking
- Friendly and Polite
- Professional at all times
- Approachable
- Computer literate (Microsoft, excel, office, word and teams)
- Proficient with security technology, such as CCTV and access control systems.
- Physically fit for patrol duties.
- FULL RIGHTS TO WORK IN UK
- **Additional Information**:_
- **Part Time/ Flexible Hours Available with room to increase can be Dual Trained on other Sites to increase to Full Time. **_
