About the role

We are looking to hire an attentive cleaning operative to join our team at the Brewery and Warehouse to take care of our facilities and carry out cleaning and maintenance duties. You will be responsible for all basic cleaning in and around the office buildings, brewery and warehouse. You will document and report on your activities, maintain stock, and follow health and safety regulations.

This role is split over 2 locations - 4 days in Hebden Bridge and 1 day in Halifax. There is a requirement to be flexible on the shift pattern.

Key skills and experience:

- Diligent about carrying out tasks with care and attention to detail
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types.
- Refilling and restocking cleaning supplies and toiletries (hand wash, toilet paper, paper towels) and replenishing groceries (tea, coffee, sugar, milk)
- Dusting ceilings, light fittings, countertops, and loose furniture.
- Scrubbing and sanitizing toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
- Emptying trash cans.
- Washing and drying windows.
- Conducting monthly disinfection and deep cleaning

- Liaising with your line manager to ensure that you have sufficient cleaning products and groceries at all times.
- Reporting any breakages that occur during the cleaning process.
- Informing the line manager of repairs that need to be done.
- Clear communicator - verbal and written.
- Maintaining high health and safety standards

Key results:

- High school diploma or equivalent is advantageous.
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Able to use a variety of cleaning products and equipment.
- Able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Able to complete tasks on time with mínimal supervision.
- Available to work mornings, evenings or weekends, as needed. Flexibility is key in this role
