Absolute Executive Search are delighted to working with a well established company based in North Kent who are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their friendly team.

Key Accountabilities:

Management of daily banking and reconciliation of all supporting information on Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss.
- Maintain the Sage book-keeping and general office finance requirements, including fixed asset registers.
- Assisting with nominal ledger at month end
- creating and posting monthly journals, accruals and prepayments.
- Assist in producing monthly management accounts.
- Support with the production of quarterly management accounts and cash flow forecasts.
- Assist in providing monthly finance reports.
- Support with the production of budgets and forecasting.
- Aid in the preparation and completion of quarterly VAT returns.
- Assist with preparing year-end accounting and taxation reports.
- Support with the formation of year end statutory accounts and year end audit analysis.
- Aid in the preparation and submission of all taxation returns in liaison with the auditors.
- Build strong relationships with service areas, helping them manage costs and budgets.
- Support with the provision of the payroll function to ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries.

Job Requirements:

- CIMA or ACCA qualified (or working towards qualification.)
- AAT qualified would be highly desirable.
- Good working knowledge of Sage 50 Cloud Professional and Xero.
- Able to work independently and in a team.
- Proven record in supporting and training budget holders.
- Excellent knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements.
- Good attention to detail.
- Highly organised and able to prioritise tasks.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels.

Hours: 35 hours per week.

Hybrid working is offered after successful completion of probation.

**Salary**: £32000
