**Accounts Assistant**

Working for an established, growing construction Sub-contractor based in Gravesend

**Location**:Gravesend, Kent

Hybrid role working 3 days a week in the office and 2 days a week from home once up to speed with the systems and processes.

**Salary**:£25,000 - £29,000 basic

**Role-**

The Resolute group is looking for an account's assistant to work within a growing accounts team due to a number of project awards. All based within the construction sector you don't need to be in construction but operating in an SME would be an advantage.

Working with the Accountant you will be mentored, developed and as you gain more experience you will have more responsibility. Involved with the reporting, recording transactions, administration and account reconciliation.

This role will be ideal for an accounts assistant that has 1-2 years' experience that wants to develop their career in finance.

**Accounts assistant day to day duties-**
- Taking care of administrative tasks, such as correspondence, filing and printing
- Working towards deadlines
- Maintaining accurate and customer accounts
- Creating new customer records
- Building a good relationship with clients and contracts accounts teams
- Supporting the Accountants with providing relevant documents and information
- Completing daily and monthly bank reconciliations
- Collecting monthly payments and making payments
- Preparing and entering reports into the system
- Supporting the preparation of management and month end duties

**Key skills and Qualifications**
- Must hold a AAT level 3 or be undertaking a relevant accounting qualification
- Basic bookkeeping skills / Spreadsheet updating
- Knowledge of MS office for support in creating reports
