An exciting opportunity has arisen for an additional supervisor in our food production facility in Brighouse. This is a key growth area for our business, manufacturing gluten free products, so if you have supervisor experience in food manufacturing plus a positive work ethic, please read on

We need you to work alongside our existing team in all aspects of production, supervising tasks to ensure business requirements are met, following production procedures to the required standards.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Supervise production of all products across each line, working alongside the Production Manager
- Monitor the technical aspects of production processes, ensuring that all products meet the required quality standards.
- Work with technical team to implement quality management systems and processes and ensure compliance with relevant food safety and quality standards, including HACCP, SALSA and BRCGS
- Work hands on in production as needed
- Supervise production team members, communicating effectively with colleagues and management
- Report any quality or health and safety issues to the management team
- Participate in technical audits and inspections
- Deputise for Production Manager as needed (with training)

**What we are looking for**:

- A positive work ethic and ‘can do’ attitude
- Working knowledge of food safety and quality standards, including HACCP and BRCGS
- A track record of supervisory experience in food production of at least 3 years
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good problem-solving skills
- A reliable, enthusiastic team player
