**Main Purpose of Job**:
To ensure that all soap products within the factory are produced on-time, cost-effectively and to the production specifications and quality requirements as agreed to with the customer. NB: This job spec holds true for working both within the bar soap and liquid soap production facilities

**Hours of Work**:
(Monday-Thursday) 7:30am to 9pm, (a typical shift is between 4 and 9 worked hours) Friday (7:30am to 5pm).

**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**

Reporting to the Supervisor/ Assistant Supervisor, you are responsible for ensuring that you report to work on-time and remain working within your contractually agreed hours to deliver the production schedule detailed daily by your Supervisor/ Assistant Supervisor.

**Product Specification**

It is your responsibility to:

- Ensure that all finished product meet the agreed customer specification from a quality, safety and legality perspective, checking all final packaging including date coding, sealing and product quality prior to putting onto another conveyor, other equipment or final outer packaging.
- Ensure all products are cost-effectively produced as per the production schedule on a daily and weekly basis and as detailed by your Supervisor/ Assistant Supervisor.

**Production Line Efficiencies**

It is your responsibility to ensure that the following production efficiencies are met:

- Effective management of personal time as per production schedule and as per your agreed working hours.
- Effective production output: you will be responsible for ensuring that daily production targets are met
- This can be a physically demanding job, so physical fitness and ability to lift boxes is imperative.
- **Production Line Quality Checks**:

- Having had the necessary training to be effective in your role and any ongoing training by Operations and Quality Control, your role is integrally responsible for the safety, quality and legality of all products produced in the factory.
- It is your responsibility to:

- Ensure that all inner and outer product packaging, wrapping and pallet configuration is delivered to an agreed customer specification.
- Daily adherence to personal hygiene policies and cleaning schedules must be followed as detailed in the policies and procedures and trained to you by a Supervisor or Manager.
- Daily adherence to health and safety policy and procedures.
- It is your responsibility (were designated) to ensure all necessary paperwork for product BRC /GMP control is completed and stored in appropriate areas.

No previous manufacturing experience required although previous Production Operative experience preferred.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 32 per week
