**Job Description**:
**We have full and part-time positions available in the following areas**:
- Gresford, Marford, Llay, Rossett and surrounding areas.
- Acton, Borras, Garden Village, Hightown and surrounding areas.
**What could you be doing as a Home Instead Care Professional?**
- ** Making a difference** to the lives of our clients by providing companionship, helping with hobbies, taking out for appointments, to the local cafe for a coffee, shopping with or for them.
- ** Keeping clients safe **in their own home by ensuring that there are no hazards, providing home help such as light cleaning, laundry, gardening etc.
- ** Getting someone ready for the day **so they feel fabulous by assisting them to wash, shower, bathe, brush hair, teeth and selecting an outfit with them to wear for the day.
- ** Keeping people healthy **by providing home cooked meals where possible, you don't need to be a chef but basic cooking skills are needed.
- ** Assisting with medication **for those clients who may need some help to remember or may find it difficult to take the medication themselves.
**Qualifications**:
You do not need any experience or particular qualifications to become a Care Professional. However, it would be useful to have some experience of working in a care setting or interacting with people. This could be personal experience of caring for a family member, voluntary experience in care or similar customer service role.
You will have a real passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding tailored care service. You will need to be a reliable, trustworthy, and respectful individual, someone that will enjoy building professional friendships and be comfortable in spending time in the company of others.
Most importantly you will need to have the right 'values' in treating our clients with dignity, respect and always a person-centred approach. All our team members have caring, kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients and community in Wrexham and surrounding areas.
