Our Care Professionals provide care to people living in their own homes so they can continue to live fulfilled lives and be supported to stay independent in the place they feel the happiest.

We provide services in both the Wrexham and Flintshire areas.

**Job Description**:
As a Care Professional with Home Instead your day will be varied. We provide bespoke, tailored services so no two clients are the same.

Some clients may want you to go shopping either with or for them, others may need you to provide personal care so they can look and feel their best for the day.

If you want to make a real difference to someone else’s day, then this could be the perfect role for you.

A typical day could include any of the following aspects:

- Providing companionship and interacting with a client about their past or engaging in hobbies with them.
- Assisting someone to wash and dress as they may no longer be able to do this on their own anymore.
- Cooking and preparing food with or for clients to ensure they can receive a good meal and hydrate throughout the day.
- Assisting with medication once you are trained to do so.
- Light housekeeping such as hoovering, laundry, and general cleaning so they can stay independent in their own home for as long as possible.
- Support a client out in the community, to attend an appointment or to pick up groceries.

**Qualifications**:
We don’t ask for specific qualifications, however we are looking for people with a particular skillset, namely the genuine, caring qualities that you possess.

If you haven't worked in care before then don't worry, as long as you have a caring nature and good work ethic we can provide the rest. We will set you on your journey to becoming a Home Instead Care Professional using our inhouse and City and Guilds accredited training.

If you have worked in a care role before then perfect, you will be able to develop your career further with us as we take you through any training any qualifications you may need.
