Our client is looking for an experienced or recently qualified Accountant to join their small and friendly team based in Deeside. As Accountant your job you will be in charge of preparing full sets of year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships of varying industries and sizes. Role:
As Accountant you will be in charge of preparing full sets of year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships of varying industries and sizes. On top of this, you will benefit from a varied role and will get involved with corporationtax, personal tax, using cloud software, liaising closely with clients and ad hoc VAT / bookkeeping work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies for Director review
- Reviewing the bookkeeping work produced by junior members of staff on software such as Xero and QuickBooks
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts
- Corporate and personal tax returns
- VAT Returns
- Assisting with HMRC compliance checks
- Potential to assist with audit projects if desired

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years working within an accountancy practice
- ACCA/ACA qualified
- Experience of using Sage, Xero or QuickBooks
- Strong Excel skills
- Positive working mentality
- Organised and methodical worker with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills across all levels within a business
- Experience of Iris would be desirable
