**Job Summary**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our catering runs smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include assisting with food preparation, serving guests, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. **Responsibilities**
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items for catering site.
- Provide exceptional guest services by ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and attended to during events.
- Help set up and break down catering stations, including arranging tables, chairs, and serving equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service and assist with any culinary tasks as needed.
- Set up and manage drink station.
- Ensuring the cleanliness of service and dining areas.
- promote the professional and hospitable environment we strive to offer.
- Communicate effectively with team members and guests.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork is kept up to date and filled out accurately.
- The correct rotation and storage of stock items.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices is highly desirable.
- Experience in guest services will be advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are essential for success in this role.
- Exemplary time management.
- Ability to work on your own and as part of a team.

Pay: From £12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cannock WS11 1SH: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Food service: 1 year (preferred)
