Learning Support Assistant – Longdon Hall School, Lichfield, Staffordshire, WS15 4PT Salary: £22,160.62 per annum (not pro rata) Hours: 37.5 hrs/week – Monday 8:30am–4:30pm, Tuesday–Friday 8:30am–4:00pm Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only Start Date: January 2026 Location: Longdon Hall School, Lichfield, Staffordshire, WS15 4PT We believe in better work/life balance. Our 4‑Day Working Week (4DWW) trial allows a 1‑day reduction in weekly hours (or equivalent) while maintaining full‑time pay, subject to successful completion of probation. About the Role As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll support teachers in delivering creative, tailored teaching that meets the diverse educational needs of pupils. Your efforts help maximise each pupil’s achievement and development in a supportive, inclusive environment. What You’ll Do Support individual pupils and small groups, helping them engage and learn effectively Assist teachers with lesson planning and delivery Prepare classrooms and learning materials Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils to promote interaction and progress Requirements Educated to GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English Full UK Driving Licence (preferred) Calm, engaging, resilient, and a strong team player Motivated by helping pupils reach their full potential About Us Longdon Hall School is an independent specialist day school for boys and girls aged 7‑18, catering to pupils with a wide range of social, emotional, and mental health needs.
