Global Process Owner

Capita HR has embarked on a large scale, global transformation programme which covers a variety of initiatives that cover systems, process and people changes to fundamentally make Capita a great place to work.
The Global HCM Process Owner will be responsible for the project management, process and systems design, implementation, communication and continuous improvement of the Absence and Core HR business processes as well as support with key data tasks and analysis. Additionally, this role will work closely with the other global process owners to ensure that all plans and changes are managed in a coordinated fashion.

**What you’ll be doing**:
- Manage all business processes and configuration relating to Compensation
- Support the HRIS Director with any HCM or Absence strategic systems work, where availability and experience allows
- Ensure that all projects within remit are managed to Capita standard and within broader process team
- Escalate process issues to respective business owners in a timely and structured approach
- Lead other team members in the IT and HR Operations teams to prioritise issue resolution, promote value added activities, focus on exceeding customer demands and be mindful of the end-to-end process
- Provide expertise with data conversion activities
- Assess current business process configuration and work with the business to simplify and standardize processes
- Establish a culture of continuous improvement, best practice sharing and process standardization and align with the other functional areas of the team
- Driving and tracking strategic initiatives that improve the user experience
- Prioritizing roadmap initiatives based on size, impact, scope and program goals, and effectively communicating prioritization-driven decision making to stakeholder and leadership
- Establish metrics to measure service performance, quality, and internal stakeholder satisfaction
- Manage communications and training for any systems changes within the remit of this role
- Expand knowledge of other Workday modules
**What we’re looking for**:
- Hands-on experience with Reward systems (Workday preferred).
- Must have configuration experience in Compensation.
- Proactive self-starter and able to complete time-sensitive activities within set deadlines.
- Strong project management competence is a key requirement
- Strong track record of creative problem-solving using software systems, and the desire to create and build new processes.
- Strong operational focus based on metrics is critical
- Strong understanding of governance around changes to configuration
- Process-driven with relationship building skills, especially in a complex and multi-relationship environment.
