**Your main responsibilities**
We currently have a vacancy for an **Environment, Health & Safety Administrator** in our Health & Safety Department. This post presents a fantastic opportunity for the right individual to progress their career within the Oscar Mayer group.
**What you'll be doing**:
This role will be an integral part of the EH&S function and will be responsible for coordinating and managing EH&S issues and activities at site level to ensure that legal and company EH&S standards are met and providing input to the continuous improvement of EH&S related processes on site.
- Coordinating EH&S activities across departments.
- Ensuring all EH&S policies, procedures, rules, and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated, and communicated.
- Assisting in the development of site specific policies and objectives.
- Supporting EH&S management systems.
- Organising training of relevant staff in EH&S such as manual handling, fire safety training etc.
- Ensuring Risk Assessments are consistently reviewed and updated in the working environment.
- Management and co-ordination of all accident-related documents, investigations, statements and reports are correctly filed and stored.
- Inspections, fire drills and fire alarms are reported.
- All Health & Safety training records are updated.
- Coordinating maintenance of site EH&S improvement plans.
- Collecting, monitoring evaluating and providing relevant reports to site and business group management as applicable.
- Acting as gate keeper on new knowledge within EH&S.
- Using data analysis to identify trends and monitor performance.
**What key skills and experience would be desirable?**
- Relevant IOSH, NEBOSH certificates at entry level.
- Entry level Food Safety Qualification.
- First Aid qualification.
- Experience and responsibility for a safety management system operation.
- Demonstrable working knowledge of EH&S working practices and Food Hygiene and H&S legislation.
- Sufficient and relevant experience within a similar sector.
