**Marketing and Product Assistant** **Salary**: £24,000 to £28,000 (experience dependent), competitive holiday allowance, comprehensive company pension scheme and excellent staff discount. Hilka Tools (UK) Ltd, a well-established manufacturer and wholesaler of tools, accessories, automotive lines and storage, is seeking a confident and motivated individual to join our Buying & Sales team as an Marketing and Product Assistant. In this role, you will contribute to marketing and product management across all our product lines, in addition to other exciting responsibilities. We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong focus and excellent multitasking abilities with a background in marketing and preferable product management. As a medium-sized business with a small close-knit team, Hilka offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact. **Product Marketing**: - Refine historical packaging designs, promoting sustainability by reducing plastic usage. - Collaborate with our photographer to improve product imagery & videos. - Update and improve the content on the Hilka website. **Marketing Implementation**: - Optimize product listings on the Amazon platform to enhance visibility and appeal. - Leverage e-marketing tools such as social/business networking sites, to amplify reach. **Product Management**: - Maintain packaging records with focus on reducing plastic. - Create monthly promotions and manage pricing. - Contribute to the creation of the annual Hilka catalogue. - Help assist completing customer new line forms and portals. - Participate in the approval and finalisation of artwork designs. **General**: - Support the sales, shipping, and purchasing departments with various tasks as needed. - Ensure all customer-facing images and content are current and update as needed. - Liaise with customers such as Amazon to resolve marketing or product issues. **Requirements**: - Previous experience in marketing and preferable also buying / product management within a related sector preferred but not essential. - Use of product design software (photoshop) preferred. - Excellent multitasking skills and the ability to prioritise conflicting deadlines. - Strong organisational skills with a proactive and independent approach. - Keen attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to accuracy. - Energetic and hands-on, with a positive "can-do" attitude. - Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team. - Capacity to handle last-minute requests efficiently and effortlessly. - Office based role in Chessington, Surrey.
