Driving Range Host

Full Time/ Part Time Roles Available

**Salary**: Up to £12.21 p/h dependant on age category bracket.

Holiday Entitlement: entitlement is based government guidelines for 40 hours a week.

**Job Tasks/Duties**
- To develop the role of the range Host to achieve an increasingly efficient, effective & profitable method of operating. To flexibly work and fulfil the multifunctional role required at all times.
- To maintain high standards of cleanliness & product, personal hygiene and customer service.
- To train, learn and continue to improve knowledge of all the products and procedures within the multifunctional role.
- To undertake duties, as required, relating to the maintenance, preparation and effective running of the driving range in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Drive golf buggy and range picker in a safe and correct manner in accordance with policy and procedure and training.
- Ensure safe and effective use of all range equipment in accordance with policy and procedure and training.
- Ensure food and beverage service strictly adheres to all food hygiene policies and company standards of product and service from order placing, through preparation, cooking, service, cleaning and waste disposal.
- Ensure the facility, in its entirety is always maintained to the highest standard from pre-opening checks and preparation, throughout the day and closedown and preparation for the following day.
- Assist in other areas of the club as required by Golf Operations Manager.
- To liaise and communicate effectively with the Golf Operations Manager and Range Hosts.
- To welcome all Range/Strike Shack Golf users giving advice on all aspects of the facility to provide the best guest experience and increase future member engagement.
- To upsell in all areas of the facility - from additional buckets of balls, Range food & beverage offering, greens fees on short courses and executive bays, where applicable.
- Attend training sessions and departmental meetings as and when requested by the Golf Operations Manager and General Manager.
- To be fully conversant with all emergency procedures for Fire & Accident and to report any accidents in the prescribed manner. To act in accordance with the Club's Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times.
- To promote the Club's reputation for exceptional standards of customer care and service. To act as an ambassador for the Club whilst on duty.
- To carry out any other reasonable request made by the Golf Operations Manager, Duty Manager, General Manager.
- To ensure a high degree of personal presentation and hygiene in line with the company’s dress and appearance policy.
- To be a positive ambassador for the Company’s CARE values at all times.

**Due to the rural location of Woodbury Park, applicants must have access to their own transport and a full, clean UK driving licence.**

**Job Type**: Part-time

Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
