Rockstar North is on the lookout for an Associate Production Coordinator who is passionate about supporting Rockstar's QA team. This is a full-time permanent position based out of Rockstar's unique game development studio in Edinburgh.

**WHAT WE DO**:

- Ensuring product quality of Rockstar releases to an industry leading standard.
- Creating and actioning comprehensive test plans ensuring everything is functioning correctly.
- Writing concise bug reports and providing all relevant supporting information such as screenshots, videos, and game logs.
- Working cohesively with various departments to gain a full understanding of all systems and game mechanics in test.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Work with the QA team to provide production support for assigned focus areas.
- Set up meetings, discussions and calls were appropriate to support QA initiatives and processes across relevant projects and platforms.
- Take direction from QA Directors / Managers and Leads to organise, annotate and document follow up points from meetings, and work proactively to advance any emergent points.
- Maintain an overview of department bug totals, including bugs created per department, bugs returning to QA, fix rates, turnaround time etc.
- Create and schedule reports to update stakeholders with key information.
- Work proactively to plan and follow up on project progress / agreed work.
- Identify process dependencies with other departments and assist with their resolution.
- Liaise with external departments on behalf of the QA team, keeping lines of communication open around features and requirements.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor's degree in Production, Project Management, or equivalent practical experience.

**SKILLS**:

- Proven written & verbal communication skills.
- Ability to take initiative when dealing with multiple priorities.
- The ability to concisely present complex information via reports.
- Proven ability to communicate and comprehend technical information in both written and oral form.
- An aptitude for working in a deadline-focused team environment.
- Self-motivated and adaptable with strong problem-solving skills.
- An eagerness to learn new software and develop skillsets.
- Strong data management skills.
- Collaborative and outgoing personality that can engage freely with others.
- A deep interest in video games and their development.

**PLUSES**:

- Participation in any academic or industry research or complex project development.
- Professional experience in the Software, Video Game, or similar industry.
- Professional experience in Quality Assurance, HelpDesk, IT support, etc.
- Experience with:

- Project Management.
- Perforce or equivalent source control software.
- Jira or equivalent bug/project tracking software.
- Post-secondary educational experience with an organisational focus (e.g., Project Management / tracking apps, Monday, MS Excel / Office)
- In-depth familiarity of Rockstar products is a massive plus.
