Maintenance & Property Administrator (20 Hours)

**This role is 20hrs per week** **Monday - Friday**
We are looking to recruit a Maintenance and Property Administrator to join our Property Management team.
This role is a administrative role so a good understanding of computers is required along with good negotiating skills.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Maintenance Request Management**
- Efficiently log and manage incoming maintenance requests.
- Prioritize and assign tasks based on urgency and availability.
- Track the status of maintenance requests and ensure timely completion
**Contractor Coordination**
- Schedule and coordinate maintenance work with external contractors.
- Communicate effectively with contractors to ensure smooth operations.
- Verify contractor invoices and ensure timely payment.
**Record Keeping**
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities.
- Update relevant systems and databases with maintenance information.
- Prepare reports and documentation as needed.
**Compliance and Safety**
- Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
- Participate in safety training and procedures.
- Report any safety concerns or hazards promptly.
**General Administrative Support**
- Provide general administrative support to the Property team.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
**Other Potential Duties**
- Scheduling appointments
- Processing orders, invoices, and maintenance quotes
- Managing timesheets and job sheets
- Handling customer communications
- Maintaining accurate records in Service life
**Skills, Knowledge and Expertise**:
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve minor maintenance issues.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to notice and address potential problems or areas needing attention
- Communication & negotiating Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with others and be able to negotiate with external contractors.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Safety Awareness: Understanding of workplace safety regulations and procedures.
- Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.
