As Used Car Buyer, you’ll be joining the Porsche team, that reports directly to the Head of Business. You’ll be accountable for the procurement of Used Vehicles to meet the aspirational sales volume and profitability of your dedicated Porsche dealer/dealers. You’ll be expected to operate at a senior management level by having monthly performance reviews with the National Franchise Director to share information on performance, trends and opportunities.

So, what’s it all about, the role:

- You’ll be accountable for maintaining a Retail Stock profile in line with the company’s strategy for used cars
- You’ll be confident in your approach and you be required to negotiate prices for the purchasing of vehicles
- You’ll be working closely with Head of Business to ensure that stock is reviewed and maintained with agreed profiles
- You will need to be comfortable with analysing data to make truly informed decisions, using the data to report upwards, sharing trends and insights and helping your peers understand the reasons to make purchases
- You’ll be providing on-going support and coaching Senior Leaders, helping them understand the used car market
- You’ll be an expert in the Used Car Market - Researching, comparing and analysing stock to understand where buying opportunities are
What are we looking for, the person:

- You’ll be able to demonstrate substantial success and experience in a buying or used sales leadership position in the automotive industry
- You’ll be a Self-starter with the flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and deadlines
- You’ll be a highly influential and effective communicator who can negotiate with internal and external customer
- You’ll have the tenacity, drive to succeed, with the ability to use creativity and initiative to ensure the delivery of targets
