**Role Overview - Planner Buyer**

Our client, a leading aerospace manufacturer, are currently recruiting for a Planner Buyer to join their procurement function. Based out of a state-of-the-art facility in Wolverhampton the successful Planner Buyer will be responsible for planning, materialmanagement, product life cycle and service design.

**Role Responsibilities - Planner Buyer**
- Responsible for conversion of demand signals into Purchase Orders (PO)
- Liaise with internal supply chain teams to understand delivery commitments
- Co-ordinate and feedback site operational requirements to regional supply chain team.
- Communicate and influence internal site functions such as Goods Inwards to ensure parts are delivered to point of use as required.
- Coordination and support for supplier non-conformance and return to vendor.
- Co-ordinate and liaise between Site and Regional supply chain to resolve issues such as Delivery/Quality/paperwork discrepancies.
- Ensure contractual terms and conditions are operationalized into the integrated planning and placement processes.
- Co-ordinate with strategic sourcing to identify and resolve deviations to contractual terms and conditions.

**Skills and Experience - Planner Buyer**
- A relevant qualification within Purchasing or Supply Chain. CIPS, APICS or other
- Experience within engineering/manufacturing
- Strong negotiation skills
- Knowledge of procurement processes
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to prioritize workload
