**Job description**

Reporting to the Company Director, and supporting the wider management team, you will be the main point of contact for all aspects of HR. Every day is different and you will need to be good at juggling a number of different priorities.

Responsibilities (this list is not exhaustive):

- Advise and support line managers in employee relations issues as they arise, such as absence, grievance, disciplinary, performance management, TUPE and redundancies
- Process all HR administrative duties throughout the employee life cycle
- Ensure all HR policies and procedures are in line with current legislation and are followed effectively
- Liaising with our Employment law advisors as and when required
- Manage and support the recruitment, selection and induction processes for all members of staff
- Review and update current processes and procedures and cascade throughout the business

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a HR Generalist (at least 4 years), with knowledge across all aspects of HR
- Ideally CIPD level 5 qualified, or the ability to demonstrate equivalent experience.

Essential Skills:

- Able to communicate with people at different levels across the business
- A good level of IT literacy is required with knowledge of HR Databases and excellent Microsoft excel skills
- The ability to organise and prioritise a diverse and busy workload, with strong administrative skills
- Ability to design clear and fair Company policies
- Up to date knowledge of employment legislation
- Applies emotional intelligence to a diverse range of people and situations

Desirable Skills:

- Knowledge of Sage Line 50 Payroll

This is a stand-alone role, so as a HR generalist, there is plenty of opportunity to make your mark and take ownership of the entire HR function.
