While the Covid-19 pandemic has caused disruption for the travel industry, we have not paused our ambition to become the UK’s leading business to business supplier of personalised luxury holidays, we’re looking for talented and enthusiastic people to bringtheir skills to our existing team and support our ambitions for growth.
The Financial Controller participates in the accounting and reporting activities for Classic Collection and Classic Package, with particular focus around supporting the month end close and reporting processes. The Financial Controller will also be involvedin the annual audit process.
Key Responsibilities:

- Participate in the month end close process, including consolidation entries, preparing / reviewing account reconciliations and helping to co-ordinate month end processes within Finance and across the wider business.
- Support with the supervision and development of the Finance team.
- Management of Year end audit.
- Ensuring the effective design and operation of financial controls around key process including: Month end close, financial reporting, Accounts Payable / Receivable, cash and banking, tax & VAT, wages and capex.
- Providing Financial data to inform decision-making.
- Day to day responsibility for managing relationships and complying with requirements from the Bank, Auditors, HMRC and other statutory bodies such as the CAA.

Here at Classic Collection Holidays we are looking for a Financial Controllerwith the following knowledge, Experience:

- Qualified Accountant (ACA or equivalent)
- Excellent Excel skills
- Excellent knowledge of financial reporting standards
- Excellent knowledge of systems
- Experience of line managing and developing Finance professionals

- Ability to influence others, including at a senior level
- Strong relationship building/client management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
