Our client is a leading PR and digital communications agency operating on a regional, national and international basis for a range of B2B and B2C clients working across full-service of public relations, communications, digital content. They are seeking a talented PR Account Executive to join their award-winning team in their beautiful Portishead office overlooking the channel.
**About the Role**
As a PR Account Executive, you’ll be at the heart of delivering impactful PR campaigns and communications strategies. Working alongside experienced PR professionals, you’ll craft compelling press releases, articles, and blog content while building valuable relationships with journalists and media outlets. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to client meetings, track and analyse coverage, helping to shape the success of PR campaigns. This role offers comprehensive mentoring and development opportunities, allowing you to grow your PR career under the guidance of industry experts, including the company’s respected CEO.
**What You’ll Need to Succeed**
To thrive in this role, you’ll need 6 months - 1 year of experience in Marketing, PR or journalism, ideally with a degree-level education. Your exceptional writing skills and meticulous attention to detail will be crucial, as will your proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of social media platforms and familiarity with generative AI tools like ChatGPT is important. Beyond technical skills, you’ll need to be highly ambitious, quick to learn, and comfortable working under pressure. Most importantly, you’ll embody the values of openness, honesty, and trustworthiness that are central to the company’s culture.
