Business Support Officer

About the role
You will provide administrative support to the Transport Strategy and Funding team and contribute to the effective running of the team and office. The Business Support Officer will support the Transport Strategy and Funding Group Manager and team members, by providing office administration, financial, management and supervision support services, and ensuring that services are delivered to a high standard.
What will you be doing?
Assisting with diary management
Arranging and co-ordinating meetings
General support on clerical and administrative duties
Undertake financial support duties, including raising orders and paying invoices
Use and maintain Council's databases and information systems
Reviewing and implementing efficient paper and electronic filing systems
