Are you experienced in providing technical advice and looking for a new and exciting challenge?

Our reputable client based in Nottinghamshire are looking to hire a Technical Officer to join their growing business.

You’ll be dealing with customers and providing them with technical advice to support customer service.

**To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials**:

- Computer literate & competent in using MS Excel
- Proficient in using CAD with proven drawing skills
- Good knowledge of maths/physics
- Excellent communication skills
- Be self-motivated and able to motivate others
- Previous experience in a metal fabrications company would be advantageous

**Within this position, you’ll be**:

- Technically reviewing projects ensuring they are to correct specifications and compliant
- Producing project airflow/system performance calculations
- Preparing project specific approval drawings
- Preparing manufacturing details for bespoke projects
- Responding to technical queries
- Reviewing and updating technical information, load tables, standard drawings, installation instructions, and cuttings lists
- Providing design advice
- Supporting installation advice
- Higlighting precautionary issues to structure engineers
- Designing and developing documents to secure future manufacturing efficiency and systems

**Salary & Working Hours
Salary is £26,000 - £28,000

Working hours are Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm
