**About The Job**
You will ensure this by carrying out Fire Safety audits and inspections to assess compliance.

**Salary**: Grade 8 - £28,371 to £31,099 per annum.

Working Pattern: 37 hours per week. Location: Worthing.

Contract: Permanent

**In this role you will**:

- Work closely and liaise with other organisations and enforcing bodies in respect of Fire Safety provisions within premises.
- Support businesses by providing Fire Safety advice and influence them to make the necessary safety changes to the buildings.
- Gather information and as necessary issue enforcement notices.
- Support the compiling of legal action files for investigations to give evidence in court.

**Skills**:

- Verbal and written skills.
- Ability to build and maintain ongoing relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to influence persons to change, adapt or alter their premises to ensure they are safe from fire.
- Ability to proactively assimilate and analyse a range of information to formulate and implement Fire Safety solutions in a variety of premises.
- Good numeracy skills in order to maintain statistical records and carry out calculations on Fire Safety issues.
- Excellent prioritising skills to organise and plan your own work.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Level 4 Certificate in Fire Safety.
