**Arc** provide supported accommodation and outreach services to those experiencing homelessness in Somerset. We have 16 properties and are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative to help ensure a safe, clean, comfortable environment for clients, staff, and visitors.

**Some of your key responsibilities will be**:

- To carry out maintenance repairs as required across various trades to all areas of Arc properties including grounds maintenance, to ensure all our accommodation is to a high standard at all times
- To work on refurbishment projects with other team members and liaise with suppliers and outside contractors as required.
- To work closely with contractors including arranging appointments, contacting for emergencies and routine repairs, providing information on the status of properties, providing assistance as required.
- To accurately calculate, without waste, the quantities of materials required, source and collect them from suppliers.
- To carry out as necessary collections and deliveries, e.g. donated equipment or gift from members of the public or other organisations, and to help with other staff in moving/carrying furniture or white goods.
- To assist in delivering complete compliance in relation to regulatory requirements.
- To access and keep repairs records using Arc’s IT systems including MS Office and our repairs systems.

**Hours**:
Core working hours Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week. Core Hours 8.00 - 4.00. Flexible hours beyond core 8.00am - 5.30pm.

**Location**:
Our properties are located in Taunton and Bridgwater therefore your work will take place across both towns. Mileage is reimbursed if you choose to use your own vehicle, though a company vehicle is provided if preferable.
