As a Strategist at Kin + Carta we focus on building strategies for execution, not for sitting in a desk drawer. We build real products and services, and deliver tangible results from digital transformation programmes.

We are specifically looking for a Lead Strategist with experience in the Financial Services sector to work with our clients and prospects as we continue to build our long, and well respected presence in the sector. Splitting your time between pre-sales, GTM strategy, and working with clients on their most pressing challenges, you’ll join a growing team of Strategists as we continue to scale in size and influence. While we don’t do all of the below at the same time, over the course of your first 6 months you are likely to have an opportunity to:

- **Help Kin + Carta win more Financial Services work, and uncover new opportunities, **working closely with our Portfolio Director and Engineering Consultants to evolve our GTM and approach for new and existing clients
- **Help Kin + Carta build its presence in the Financial Services with new content and ideas, **developing points of view, marketing content and activities to drive awareness of what we do and how we do it, both internally and externally
- **Develop new propositions and ventures for Financial Services clients, **leading and driving experiments and incubation activities to uncover and prioritise business cases for further investment in tech / digital led propositions & business models
- **Lead a strategic product or transformation project within Financial Services, **working in a tight, cross-functional team with our clients to explore, validate and uncover a roadmap for transformation or product delivery

**The type of person we’d love to meet**:

- You have a wealth of experience and understanding of financial services and its unique nuances, having worked either in consulting or for several financial services institutions (banking, wealth management, fintech, insurance)
- Experienced in the development and delivery of new business pitches and proposals
- You’re an innovative thinker who pushes the boundaries and loves thinking about commercially viable solutions for FS to win customer hearts and minds
- You can lead out on and effectively communicate a product, service, or transformation strategy to C level stakeholders, and are able to demonstrate strong understanding of ROI and business benefits of digital change.
- You’re able to think in both business and behavioural models, researching and analysing organisations, and develop insight into customer behaviour;
- Somebody who possess a deep knowledge of how products and services get built, launched and grow - from discovery through to delivery and live;
- You’re able to employ a varied toolkit of frameworks and techniques from across disparate areas of consulting, design, technology and tangential fields;
- You truly understand what makes an excellent customer experience, and how that translates into commercial success for businesses;

**Nice to Have**:

- You are passionate about technology and the transformative effect of software on the world
- Experience in planning and facilitating collaborative working sessions
- Experienced navigating the structures, politics and incentives of the large organisations we (usually) work for, and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Experience working as a strategic leader in technology or design agencies / consultancies;
