**Finance Manager**

**The Role**:
We're looking for someone who can work well with our senior leadership team, who is a natural people focused problem solver. You'll bring both professional expertise (or proven equivalent experience) and strong people skills. You'll be comfortable working across a range of different stakeholders, delivering work to a high standard, with excellent attention to detail.
**Essential Criteria / Previous Experience**:
Day to day financial processing, including but not limited too; processing purchase invoices, creating sales invoices, reconciling, projection analysis.
Working with an external payroll provider
Producing cashflow analysis monthly, liaising with suppliers to ensure effective and efficient management of liabilities.
Supporting the preparation of funding requests and formal tenders as well as providing reporting to existing funders.
Being responsible for the asset register for IT and phones; noting requirements for purchases, renewals, or upgrades.

In doing so, we open up their pathways to positions of influence in their career and their community. Each year, over 400 young people in London, Manchester, Cardiff, Bedfordshire, and Birmingham complete our programmes and over the past decade we've supported nearly 5,000 young people in total, 65% of whom come from a Black, Asian or minority ethnic background, 55% of whom are the first in their family to university and 59% of whom are women.

Location: Hybrid London (one day a week in the office & meetings as required)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 30 hrs (0.8FT based on a 37.5hr week) with option to spread over 4 or 5 days

**Salary**: £40,000 Pro Rata
Benefits: 25 days plus Bank Holidays (pro rata), Flexibility around core hours, working from home, Health and wellbeing services, Mental Health Awareness training, Employee Networks Organisational Away Days Informal meeting space such as coffee breaks and book club.
