**Your new role**

A Employer Services Consultant responsible for managing the employer services process for their local area. This will be done through the sourcing of sustainable employment opportunities for programme participants within the local employer market and ensuring service levels exceed employers’ expectations.

The Employer Services Consultant will take a lead in the area and work as part of our Skills division in identifying opportunities to offer bespoke Employment training to match the local labour market trends. You will complete comprehensive training needs analysis’s to understand the employers training requirements to support their recruitment and business.

You will promote opportunities for learners to participate in sector training and qualifications supported by the Education & Skills Funding Agency and will be responsible for sourcing suitable employment options for learners. The role will be to provide a link between Triage and Jobcentre Work Coaches, Employers and Key Partners, ensuring a regular flow of referrals to your vacancies and provision. The Employer Services Consultant will also facilitate awareness sessions to provide information on upcoming training, as well as completing eligibility checks to ensure learners are accessing the most suitable support.

A Employer Services Consultant will strictly adhere to all guidelines in accordance with the programme’s requirements and Triage policies and procedures and have a passion for supporting people and making a real difference to others.

**Business development**
- Identifies new business opportunities that match the caseload requirements and capabilities
- “Sells” the skills and abilities of our participants to the employer
- To carry out business engagement activities to raise awareness with employers about the benefits of staff participating in certified training
- To be accountable for sourcing employer vacancies and placements that match the job goals of learners, aligning with training that supports local labour market opportunities
- To be responsible for the lead generation and conversion to increase the number of people signing up to training.
- Promotes and creates an awareness of the entire range of Triage services including work experience/trial opportunities, vocational and accredited training as well as vacancies
- Identifies other employer-led business opportunities when opportunities arise e.g. growth sectors
- Maximises on repeating business and developing existing accounts
- Identifies organisations with potential for providing recruitment opportunities at Triage locations or programmes.

**Customer service & relationship management**
- Educates operations teams and programme participants about opportunities available in key industry sectors.
- To build and foster long standing relationships with employers and other potential; referral sources, such as National Careers Service, Jobcentre Plus, Local Enterprise Partnerships, Community Groups, Justice Services and other relevant potential referral organisations
- Ensures all recruitment services are delivered in accordance to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) identified within SLAs.
- Ensures employers’ requirements and expectations are met at all times
- Provides information, advice and guidance to employers on how to attract, select, support and retain disabled talent, promoting where appropriate Disability Confident scheme.
- Work with employers to identify ways in which they might structure roles to provide greater accessibility to participant groups e.g. promoting job sharing/part-time hours providing greater accessibility for carers, work trials to increase awareness of opportunities, adjustment duties to enable participants with health conditions / disabilities to access and sustain in employment.
