Procurement Assistant will be required to source materials from our suppliers and ensure timely preparation of purchase orders. Processing all goods in and following up any discrepancies in a timely manner.

**Duties will include**

Preparing purchase requisitions. Ordering components from suppliers.

Booking in materials and assigning to the customer

Recording of materials booked out to customers

Pricing materials issued, some cash handling.

Ensuring that databases are kept up to date.

**Desired Qualifications/Qualities**

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred. A knowledge in mechanics/engineering would be desirable. Please be aware this is a workshop store and not a shop.

Good problem solving skills

The ability to lease with suppliers and customers in a professional manner

IT literate including good use of MS Office and database.

Confident telephone user.

Good handwriting skills

Good time management and the ability to work within a team and take instruction.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
