**VisionFR** are recruiting on behalf of a fast paced integrated communications agency for a temporary **Group Financial Controller** for 12 months.
The **Group Financial Controller** will manage the day to day running of the finance function in a dynamic and fast paced and diverse group. Delivering accurate and timely financial information across the various group companies to strict deadlineswhilst mentoring and coaching direct reports.
The Key responsibilities of the **Group Financial Controller**
- Review and full understanding the Group management accounts;
- Preparation and review Group Board Pack and local Board Packs;
- Review and full understanding of all Group budgets and forecasts;
- Review of all documentation prepared for annual audit;
- Integration of current and future acquisitions;
- Ensuring the Group maintains a strong financial control environment making recommendations to efficiencies;
- Responsibility for maintaining adequate insurance across the Group, liaising with wider Group to understand and monitor insurance requirements and POC for any insurance claims arising;
- Support, and lead where required, on negotiation and procurement relating to central costs;
- Treasury and cash management of various Group companies, including preparation of cash forecasts where required;
- Review and consolidation of weekly Gross Profit tracker for the Group;
- Review and approval of weekly supplier payment runs across the Group;
- Leading and developing the finance team along with annual performance reviews;
Expected Qualifications of the **Group Financial Controller**
- ACCA, CIMA or ACA Qualified (4/5 years + PQE)
- Strong financial accounting and strong technical accounting experience
- A genuine drive and commitment to produce highest quality work and always deliver technical expertise
- Experience working for a creative agency
