We are looking for a CFO to join our growing team working at multiple points who is passionate, hungry, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
You will be responsible to initially understand the relationship between our group of companies including management, holdings, and systems to establish reports and narrative to revaluate our security ratings (S&P). Further to this you will be responsible for assisting with the ongoing property level accounting and service charge reporting.
**Accountabilities**:
- Reporting on property level information in bespoke systems for asset management and service charge
- Run billing processes for Service Charges to be billed to all Tenants
- Be responsible for underpinning the operational understanding and communication of service charge finance and representing the client in line with the culture, brand, and ethos
- Contribute to internal and external reporting to ensure consistency, accuracy, and timeliness of financial and non-financial reporting to achieve regulatory and business outcome
- Assist the Senior Property Accountant with the monthly and quarterly financial reporting process
- Manage the annual Service Charge budget setting process and annual financial statement production for service charges
- Prepare service charge budgets in conjunction with the Asset Management team, ensuring the service charge accounts and budgets are issued on time to the highest quality and bringing financial oversight to service charge activities
- Set up and ensure effective credit control procedures, updating processes and procedures in line with cci practices
- Liaise with internal and external auditors and resolve all audit queries effectively and within the timescales required
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of service charge regulation, assessing the impact of changes in regulation
- Manage a performance driven culture within the team by driving continuous improvements to service, establishing plans, developing individual skills and experience within the team

**Essential**:
- Part Qualified accountant with experience working as a property/service charge accountant.
- Strong knowledge of service charge accounting Landlord & Tenant Act 1985 and all associated legislation.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of financial management and accounting principles and applies this knowledge to effectively manage the commercial and operational activities of the business.
- Applies strong intellect and logic to quickly diagnose the core issues and identifies a range of potential solutions and scenarios.
- Actively monitors timeframes and milestones to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Uses breadth and depth of finance and business operational expertise to provide proactive solutions to both strategic and commercial risk and opportunities.
- Engages all stakeholders and contributors to ensure management optimises outcomes.

**Salary**: £74,404.60-£168,717.76 per year
