**Days & Hours**: 10.00am to 6:30pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays (ideally but any 2 weekdays can be agreed), plus one weekend a month, 11.00am to 6.00pm

**About this client/child**:
Charlotte is a charming young lady of 18. She loves to go on long walks, swimming, trips to visit zoos and theme parks, and being on her iPad. Charlotte is autistic and attends a specialist school which she loves; she enjoys the activities and the routine.She has recently been diagnosed with epilepsy and doctors are seeing which is the best medication/dose for her. Charlotte’s epilepsy presents as either partial absences or full seizures. She has recently been started on anti epileptic medication. Charlotteis physically very able and communicates via facial expressions and can use some basic words. She is generally a calm and kind person. Occasionally, if something unsettles her, for example if she was using her iPad and the internet went down, she may displaybehaviour that may challenge, as she wouldn’t understand why this was happening. She may become upset, angry or bang her head.
**Overview of role**:
When Charlotte returns from school, she is very happy to go up to her room and go on her iPad. She likes to spend a bit of down time on her own. In the school holidays, there will time for activities further afield. As well as supporting Charlotte, cookingbasic food for her, prompting her self-care, and facilitating activities at home, there is time allocated to help the family with some household tasks while Charlotte is at school. These include things like putting the washing on, basic tidying such as bedmaking, tidying clothes, popping to the dry cleaners, taking in a delivery, feed the dogs and/or playing with them in the garden etc. (No cleaning/ironing). 10.00am to 6:30pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays (ideally but any 2 weekdays can be agreed), plus one weekenda month, 11.00am to 6.00pm.
**Who this job would suit**:
This will be a lovely job for a *female Family Support Worker who has plenty of common sense and is diligent, careful, and kind. You’ll be able to cook basic, good food. You’ll have experience and understanding of people with autism and epilepsy. You’ll bea driver, able to drive an automatic car and be a non-smoker/vaper. You’ll also be happy to spend time with 2 lovely dogs
