Casual Van Driver Maidenhead

2-3 Days Per Week Including Saturday

Join our friendly Retail team as a local Delivery Driver. There’s more to COOK than food: our shops play active roles in the communities they serve and that’s thanks to the warmth, knowledge and care of our Retail Team. We’re looking for remarkable people to join us delivering our food to customers homes.

Various hours, Cat B Full Car/Van UK manual driving licence. Minimum of two years driving the class of vehicle. Aged 25 and over for Insurance.

COOK is a pioneering frozen food company, since 1997 we’ve been making remarkable food for your freezer, prepared by hand at our Kitchens in Kent (savoury) and Somerset (puddings) using the same ingredients and techniques you would at home. Your Team

Our drivers all the face of our business, ensuring our food is delivered to our customers safely and in excellent condition.

The Role
- Offer remarkable service, the customer is always more important than anything else you are doing.
- Carry out deliveries safely and in line with the responsibilities in our driver handbook.
- Plan your route to ensure efficient and timely delivery, communicating any delays or issues with our office team so the customer can be informed.
- Take care to look after your own safety and that of others. Drive in a safe and responsible manner, comply with all relevant traffic regulations, including adhering to speed limits
- Ensure all paperwork is correctly completed and returned to the office at the end of each shift.

Good to Have

Cat B Full Car/Van UK manual driving licence. Minimum of two years driving the class of vehicle. Aged 25 and over for Insurance.

Previous experience of multi drop delivery would be the icing on the cake.

Physically capable of manually handling.

Have a flexible approach to working hours.

Good communication skills.
