This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has graduated in the last 1-3 years and is looking for that first or next step into a Trainee Accountant role with a growing and exciting business that can offer training, study support and steady careerprogression progression alongside this
The business are an award winning, high growth UK market leader with fantastic head offices based in Harrogate. They have experienced year on year unprecedented growth, and now with a new acquisition recently completed, they are growing their finance team
The role would be ideally suited to someone who has an existing grounding in finance through either a university placement year, or post graduate experience who is the the early stages of ACA/ACCA/CIMA, or is looking to start studying in their next role.
The business will offer a full study package including funding, days off for exams/revision and on the job training/support.
Some of the key duties will include:

- Weekly internal stakeholder meetings
- Setting up new bank accounts within the critical timescales
- Prepare the Financial System and Booking System
- Analyse and assemble data to import into the appropriate systems
- Daily and weekly reporting
- Reconcile the data received and the data imported, to identify any variances or anomalies
- Communicate with the relevant stakeholders to ensure timelines are provided and met
- Assisting in preparing the budget
- Work with departments to understand procedures and implement changes that will enhance or improve current working practices.
- Assiting in financial audits
- Support the Finance Manager on Project work
- A minimum of 12 months experience in a Finance function - Essential
- A strong knowledge of MS Excel - Essential
- Be studying towards AAT/ACCA/CIMA or looking to start studying in their next role - Desirable
- Have a previous experience financial accounts/audit - Desirable
