ROLE - Trainee Administrator
SALARY - £21-£23.5k depending on experience
HOURS - Monday to Friday - 9.00-17.30
LOCATION - Glasgow City Centre
Office Angels Glasgow have a fantastic opportunity for a keen individual to learn and develop new skills in an organisation with a solid and enviable reputation.?This role would suit?someone who is confident in their ability and is?looking to build a careerin the pensions industry.
If successful, you will embark on a two-year training programme to become a Pensions Administrator within this top firm. Due to the size of the organisation there will be ample progression opportunities in the future.
We are open to having a conversation with anyone who can demonstrate a keenness for mathematics and/or pensions or perhaps you have recently graduated and are now looking to take your first step on the career ladder.

The Role
- Business support to the larger Pensions team
- Maintaining membership records
- Setting up and calculating benefits for new and existing members
- Dealing with general queries from members, the employer and the trustees
- Assisting in the preparation of the annual benefit statements
- Liaising with HM Revenue and Customs

Key Skills/attributes
- Enthusiasm to build a career in pensions
- Excellent maths/calculation skills
- A keen interest in self learning and development
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical and numerical ability - able to analyse, evaluate and interpret data
- Ability to prioritise an ever changing workload
- Educated to Higher Level (or equivalent) in Mathematics
- Willing to study for APMI qualifications
