**What will you be doing as an Apprentice Facilities Assistant?**

As an Apprentice Facilities Assistant you will learn how to deliver a day-to-day caretaking service to our estates, blocks and schemes, establishing a close working relationship with the community ensuring that the properties and surrounding areas remain clean, tidy, safe, secure and in good condition, both by direct action and by monitoring of estate services provided by colleagues & contractors.

The work will be varied and interesting and you will have the support of a mentor throughout your apprenticeship.

At College you will study a Level 2 Facilities Services Operative at GLP Training, Worcester, or similar provider, by attending 1 day a week alongside learning and working with experienced Colleagues during the rest of the week.

**Some things we need from you**
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organisation skills
- Customer care skills
- Team working
- Grade 4 or above GCSE or equivalent in English would be desirable
- Grade 4 or above GCSE or equivalent in Maths would be desirable

**Some things you need to know**
- The team is based in Worcester so applicants need to be based either in the City or nearby.
- This is a Level 2 course lasting 2 years
- You would work a 35 hour week working Monday to Friday
- Ideally you would need to hold a full driving licence but this is not essential at this point but the role is mobile
