Apollo Home Healthcare are seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support an adult male with his complex and clinical care needs on a 1:1 basis.

We are looking for compassionate and committed Healthcare assistants in Ashton under Lyne, who are passionate about delivering the highest quality one-to-one care for our service user, building positive relationships with them and their family while enabling him to live as independently as possible in his home.

**Meet our service user**

Our service user is a gentleman in his 60s who lives with his wife in Ashton under Lyne and requires assistance throughout the night on a 1:1 basis to support his complex care needs.

At home he enjoys listening to audio books, watching TV dramas such as police action and border patrol and spending time engaging with his wife and care team. He is also involved in the MND support club for his local area which he thoroughly enjoys.

He is a late settler and can struggle to get to sleep and often has a restless night, you will be there to support him with all his care needs throughout the night and ensuring his comfort and well-being. You will provide support with his personal care, repositioning and attend to his clinical care needs when required.

Our ideal care team will show patience and understanding and have effective communication skills to understand and interpret his needs and wants.

**Essential Experience Required**
- 3 months of previous care experience
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
- Medication Administration

**Desirable Experience**
- Knowledge of Motor Neurones Disease
- PEG Feeding
- NIV Ventilation
- Cough Assist

**We have the following shifts available;**
- Part Time Nights
- 2 shifts per week
- Between Sunday and Thursday Nights
- 11:00pm - 8:00am

**Take a look at our pay rates**

Weeknights: £11.50 per hour (Approx. £103.50 per 9-hour shift)

Weekends: £12:00 per hour (Approx. £108.00 per 9-hour shift)

Bank Holiday: £16.00 per hour (Approx. £144.00 per 9-hour shift)
