**Are you looking to expand your skills and enhance your career to include providing Complex Clinical Care or do you already have Complex Care experience?**
Apollo Home Healthcare are seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to join our team in Ashton under Lyne to support a gentleman with his complex care needs.
We are looking for compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about delivering the highest quality 1:1 care for our service user, who can build positive relationships with them and those around them.
**Meet our service user**
Our service user is a cheerful, content, gentleman in his 30’s who resides in a nursing home based in Ashton-Under-Lyne and requires support on a 1:1 basis throughout the night with his complex care needs.
He loves to spend time with his family, and interacting with his care team and enjoys having a banter. He enjoys watching his favourite T.V programmes along with animated DVDS, and throughout the day he loves to access the community, going shopping and simply being out and about.
Throughout the night your role will be to support with his personal care, moving and handling requirements and attend to his clinical care needs when required. Make close observations and promote a comfortable and safe environment to promote a restful nights sleep.
Our service user is none verbal and expresses his needs and wants through a variety of sounds. His care team will need to show understanding and patience to understand his methods of communication.
**Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.**
**Essential Experience Required**
- 3 months previous care experience
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
- Medication Administration
- Epilepsy Management
**Desirable Experience**
- Nebuliser care
- Ventilation management
- Gastrostomy feeds (PEG)
- Previous experience with nonverbal service users
**We have the following shifts available;**
- Part Time Nights
- 24 hours per week
- 7:00pm - 7:00am
- Must be flexible and be able to work alternate weekends
**Take a look at our pay rates**
- Weeknights: £12:00 per hour (Approx.£144.00 per 12-hour shift)
- Weekends: £12.50 per hour (Approx. £150 per 12-hour shift)
- Bank Holiday: £16.00ph (Approx. £192 per 12-hour shift)
This is a personally rewarding role where you can build on your clinical skills and experience, whilst delivering exceptional care and support to our service user, really making an impact on his day to day life.
