**Global Director of Marketing & Sales**

Brand Addition is currently recruiting for the position of Global Director of Sales & Marketing, based either in the UK or US. This person will be responsible for creating and implementing the sales and marketing strategy to support our ambitious revenue growth over the next 5 year through our existing client base and the acquisition of new clients and geographies.

We are looking for a senior marketing and sales professional who has international business experience navigating complex, enterprise organizations and can lead our new business, creative, and marketing teams across Europe, North America, and Asia. Working closely with our Divisional Managing Directors and Account Directors to create marketing plans which maximize sales from our prestigious blue chip client base. Our client base focuses on Corporate sales (mainly B2B branded merchandise) as well as Consumer sales (GWP & gifts sold with consumer products in various channels of retail).

The Global Director of Sales & Marketing will report to the Group Managing Director in the US and will be a member of our Operating Board (leadership team).

**Responsibilities**:

- Working closely with the Director of New Business to plan and execute a marketing strategy to achieve revenue growth targets through new contracts focused on Fortune 1000 companies.
- Ensure we build, maintain, and convert a strong pipeline of opportunities with an annual new international business growth target of £8-10m
- Part of the senior management pitch team (retention & acquisition), responsible for leading and overseeing new business & retention pitch creation and delivery
- Support existing account management with sales & marketing plans to increase our share of wallet and further penetrate our accounts across multiple territories and geographies
- Lead the creative and marketing teams to enhance our brand strategy and develop ideas and tools including but not limited to ecommerce, marketing, & social media engagement which enable all sales teams to optimize these tools to drive sales with existing clients as well as win new business
- Manage commercial modeling and negotiations with new and existing clients to ensure profitable program operations (retention & acquisition)
- Stay current on consumer ecommerce trends affecting existing and prospective clients to provide strategic insights to their businesses and creative merchandise engagement
- Manage and measure marketing campaign costs and report of effectiveness based on pre-defined KPI’s
- Develop a strategy to increase the amount of RFPs, RFIs, and other corporate tenders that Brand Addition is invited to bid on annually
- Provide industry and client feedback to company Operating Board to continually develop Brand Addition service offerings that fit the evolving client needs

**Requirements**:

- Strong leadership skills to be used to guide 3 distinct teams (located in the US & UK):
Creative Agency, New Business Development, and Client Marketing
- Proven track record of accomplishment in delivering business growth in the organization you have previously worked for
- Demonstrated history of building relationships and networks with key stakeholders at Fortune 1000 organizations for both B2B and B2C engagement product / services engagement
- Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and project management skills
- Detail your ability to identify business opportunities and to solve complex client issues
- Exceptional relationship building, presentation and communication skills, with the ability to present to mixed audiences and varied levels within our customer base (C-Suite, Procurement, Marketing, Human Resources, Brand Management)
- Ability to travel internationally for client meetings and industry events

**Experience**:

- 10+ years of professional experience in a marketing and sales roles, building client engagement and new business development strategies
- Working in an agency environment and or experience in the promotional products sector would be advantageous but not essential

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in business management field (MBA or other Masters degree would be advantageous but not required)
- Demonstrated track record working with Fortune 1000 procurement, marketing, brand, and human resources teams in a B2B and B2C environment with annual & multi-year contracts valued above $500,000+
- In-depth knowledge of unique and proven selling strategies & methods as well as employee motivation techniques and programs to enhance our customer’s brand engagement activities
