**Brief overview of the role**:
Overview:
We are looking for someone creative to join our growing Digital Marketing team as a Digital Marketing Apprentice. The apprentice will be based in Newton-le-Willows. Full training over 15 months would be provided, working closely with colleagues in all areas of the business.

**Vacancy description**:

Overview:
Main role / Duties: [Once trained, you would be responsible for:]
- Assist in the planning and day to day tasks required to support the marketing of MCC Digital
- Support the delivery of marketing plans developed by the team
- Support events run by MCC, through promotion and event management
- Content creation for web and socials
- Blog writing
- Develop and build digital marketing assets for short-term campaigns
- Necessary administration tasks that contribute to the day-to-day operation of a busy and growing marketing department

What we are looking for:
Essential skills and Personal qualities:

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Good organisation and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail, especially when preparing copy text
- Able to work from a brief and maintain the company’s style
- Happy to work as a team, giving, responding, and working from feedback

Desirable:

- Some familiarity with Adobe’s suite
- Previous experience in short courses / Design
- Knowledge in the Apple brand (not essential)
- Accessible through public transport Newton-le-Willows or Earlestown train station. (Business is very close by)

Entry requirements: The entry requirements for this programme are as follows:

- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)

Position: 15-month apprenticeship / Fixed term contract / with a strong view to offering a fulltime role on successful completion.

Working week: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

**Salary**: £14,000 - £17,000 per annum.

Digital Marketing Business Principles

- Security levels necessary to protect data
- Digital etiquette

- Understand the differences between all the major digital and social media platforms
- Plan digital content based on audience needs
- How a digital marketing team works in a business environment

Principles of Coding

Develop knowledge in the range of concepts, approaches, software languages and techniques that are applicable to Principles of Coding.

- How local (cookies) or session data storage is utilised

Google Analytics IQ

Develop knowledge to be proficient in Google Analytics and be effective at leveraging Google Analytics within their organisations.

- Analysis tools and techniques
- Advanced marketing tool
