I am keen to speak to experienced Bid Writers about a new vacancy for my nationally operating client. This is an exciting time to join a growing and progressive business. Although previous experience of Bid and Content Writing is required, this vacancy can offer unlimited progression opportunities for somebody looking to develop their career in this field.

This role will be responsible for creating a range of strategic sales materials from high-value bids to higher frequency tactical proposals for a variety of new and existing national customers. Acting as a partner to the bid team to produce high-quality written content for bids, tenders, proposals, and other supporting materials.
- Edit and develop bid responses from a variety of stakeholders (including sales, marketing, finance, commercial, legal, service delivery and IT)
- Support multiple sales teams with presentation and proposal content
- Develop and maintain answers and content library
- Manage the administration of the bid function, including logging of and response to all inbound opportunities
- Deliver completed written proposal responses to the Bid and Content Manager against agreed deadlines, escalating issues, as required

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience of working on high frequency or large bids is essential
- A firm understanding of the bidding process
- Ability to work to strict deadlines and timeframes
- A high degree of attention to detail, with meticulous proof-reading skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Critical thinking ability with the ability to process advice and adapt it to their work
- Excellent internal stakeholder management skills
- Ideally will have higher qualifications in English Language and have written for a technical audience previously

This is a business-critical vacancy, and my client is looking to add a positive, motivated and results driven individual to their team.

This can be a fully remote role, but applicants must be required to travel to the West Midlands on occasion, as required.
