**THE ROLE**
- This role requires an individual to support the supplier relations team across all areas of the business and to help drive all supplier revenues across all areas of CTM Europe. The role is very varied so requires a person who has a very flexible approach to daily tasks and managing several projects at the same time. A person who is eager to learn all aspects of working in a supplier relations team including planning, finance reporting and data reviews along with negotiation and fare optimization
- The role requires the individual to support the supplier team to help maintain long term strategic partnerships and to work with the relevant teams to help create supplier analysis, forecasting and guidance to the business
- This role requires the individual to work with closely with the training and operations teams, GM’s, business managers and sales teams across both CTM and ETM to help drive the adoption of supplier preferencing across all staff members, this role will also need to work closely with marketing and technical teams to support the promotion of supplier campaigns and incentives
- Working closely with the supplier relations team this role is mainly accountable for the successful performance and effectiveness of the CTM preferred suppliers but will work closely with all areas of the business including operations, business management, sales and finance to help drive results across Europe.
- The role requires the individual to take a proactive and commercially sensitive approach when dealing with new and preferred partners and to take a hands-on, practical approach to problem solving in order to meet both partner and CTMs expectations.
- This role will also be working closely with our optimisation revenue manager to help increase net fare usage and an increase in yield. They should also be comfortable in working with excel as they will be working closely with our finance team and ensure they have the information required to create clear reporting
- The role will be office based but will be split between home working and office but also this role will include supplier events and hotel visits which may be outside office hours. This role will also include visiting other CTM offices.

**KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY**

Support CTM Supplier Team in developing and maintaining a long standing, professional relationship with all partners.
- Help to manage the supplier partnerships to ensure that CTM is meeting all commitments as agreed with our commercial partners including the management of partner allocation of bed nights and tickets
- Work with the Sales and account management team to ensure Sales force is correct and updated with client supplier information and that this is visible to the supplier and finance teams.
- Work across the business to ensure all teams and departments are aware of CTM preferred suppliers both regionally and global and ensure staff understand the full benefits of supplier offers.
- Ensure all preferencing is in place both manual and technical via the GDS and other online booking tools
- Support the supplier team in arranging events for staff and or corporate client
- Work with GDS and other technical systems to ensure net fare are visible and all preferencing is in place.

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
- At least 3 years in either a similar role or a TMC role within operations.
- Good written skills and numeracy/analytical skills
- Attention to detail and quality orientation
- Good communicator both written and verbally, open and friendly approach
- Resilient - remaining calm and stable under pressure
- Organised and a good planner
- Creative
- A team player
- Commercially aware
- Flexible approach and like to work hard but have fun.
- Adept using Microsoft Office Software
