This is an opportunity for a Food Service Steward / Catering / F&B Assistant to join a private leading Hospital in central London. This is a stunning hospital used by VIPs, High profile people and well known for its high standards of care and ability toensure the privacy and care required by such people and patients. The Food Service Steward will ensure the patients total catering requirements with an emphasis on providing the best possible care, including maintaining and improving high standards resultingin total patient satisfaction.

**SALARY ETC**:

- £18,564 + excellent benefits
- Permanent, full-time
- Central London
- Start: ASAP
- Hours of work : 37.5 per week, Monday -Sunday (Rotation hours to be confirmed)

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- To have experience in a similar role within a healthcare setting / hotel / Food & Beverage outlet, or similar
- To have a food hygiene certificate or similar
- Excellent communication skills and high standards of customer service
- To have a friendly and positive personality, with a reliable and punctual approach
- Well presented and able to do various shifts on a rota basis
- You must be vaccinated against Covid, and right to work in the UK

**DUTIES TO INCLUDE**:

- Preparation and delivery of patients light refreshments and beverages.
- The preparation and service of patient/consultant meal requirements. (If any)
- Clean, wash and dry all cutlery and china by hand or machine.
- Keep limited records (i.e. stock sheets, room service, cleaning checklists etc.)
- Carry out correct food rotation procedures.
- Monitoring and recording temperatures of all ward refrigerators. Informing supervisors when discrepancies occur.
- To comply with statutory and Hospital regulations concerning the hygiene and safety of staff, food and equipment.
- To control and minimise waste
- Maintain, clean & descale all coffee/ water machines within the Medical Centre.
- To distribute and collect all patient menus. (Liaise with ward sister / senior nursing staff on diet information).
